Tuesday News

It's easier to see how things are done than to explain how they're done. Folded Word Press has recently released a video on the making of its first signature series chapbook, Jessie Carty's poetry collection The Wait of Atom. It's also a good idea to give the potential buyer a sense of what they're buying. And if this video doesn't convince you that your money is going to be well spent, I don't know what will.

The Wait of Atom's official release date is today, right now. You can purchase it as an ebook at the Kindle Store and at Mobipocket.com. You can also purchase it as a handcrafted chapbook. Um. Yes. I'd do that. And please bear in mind that my short fiction collection When the Cats Razzed the Chickens & Other Stories (official release November 19th, 2009) will be crafted with the same exact care and precision. I doubt you'll find chapbooks of this caliber anywhere else.

You can order the print versions HERE.

Wow. So that happened.

Next, Pat King of Outsider Writers Collective was kind enough to interview me and xTx about our collaborative project SHUDDER PAGEANT. You can read the interview HERE. Big thanks to Pat and OWC. Also big thanks to Caleb J Ross of OWC for coming through in the clutch. Caleb's short story collection Charactered Pieces is available for pre-order HERE. Can't wait to get my grubby mitts on it.

If you haven't checked out SHUDDER PAGEANT, it will forever be available as a free pdf & mp3 download HERE and HERE.

I have watched that video three times now. Once with a party hat on while I thought, "That paper is so loved."
