Postcard(s) from the Edge

I ate a value meal from McDonald's last night. And it was delicious. It made me revisit my idea that not all instant gratification is bad. I'll revisit this idea again when my feet start glowing radioactive from the French Fries.

Anyway....

This brings me to Postcard Shorts. Is it instant gratification? Almost. I happened upon this lovely little place while sucking the remainder of my orange soda through a chewed straw. I'm happy I did.

They publish "Postcard size" fiction of 250 words. And they'll publish pretty much anything, as my story Soul Mates will show.

But it's fun. And certainly worth it. So the next time you find yourself dominating a Whopper near your computer, slide on over and see what you can snap off for Postcard Shorts. You'll feel good about it. I promise.

Many thanks to Postcard's editor, Richard, for the love and the quickness. Good man.

Very clever, Mel. Short and sweet--the way I like to read (but obviously not write) 'em. Love the giggle at the end.
