PicFic: One Man's Long, Hard Journey to Glory

Well, it's hard to believe I've finally found myself on this stage.

First off, I'd like to thank my family for their sometimes wavering but ultimately steadfast support. I love you guys. I'd also like to thank my friends for their encouragement and also for their razzes. I hate most of you guys. No, that's not true- I hate ALL of you guys. Especially you, Eddie Socko. You've been a real jerk for years.

Of course, I'd like to thank the Academy for recognizing greatness in all of its forms, from the expansive to the microscopic.

Lastly, I'd like to thank PicFic's founder and editor, J.S. Graustein, without whom none of this would've been possible. I applaud your bravery and vision. Thank you for taking a chance on a poor kid from the east coast.
